An adult woman and a young girl, both with dark curly hair, walk towards a building's entrance. The woman carries a large red bag, while the girl has a pink backpack featuring a cartoon character from Paw Patrol. The building has a wooden exterior and glass doors.

Access to Child Care

I have seen firsthand that our community thrives, and our local economy thrives, when parents have access to quality childcare.

I’m proud of my advocacy and work to stand up the Resort’s employer-based child care center in 2021 and to advocate for working parents.

I want to work with community childcare organizations such as First Impressions, as well as leverage state and national organizations, to see how we can continue to expand access to childcare in our community, providing the necessary support for parents to remain, or return, to the workforce and keep our economy thriving.
